We are absolutely thrilled by the extraordinary participation in the 1st round of our competition.

A record-breaking 115 applications from 35 countries around the world have arrived, and the level of the young violists was truly exceptional.

The jury faced a tremendously difficult task in selecting only 18 semifinalists from such an outstanding pool of talent.
